For 30 years the Village Hall had an echo or reverb that made the environment uncomfortable for many. Our solution was to obtain funding from the National Lottery Community Fund and install 27 sound absorbing acoustic panels
The Modelling and Predicted Reverb Times were calculated by Sound Reduction Systems Ltd using acoustic modelling software, for suspended Sonata Vario panels.

The Measured Before and After were obtained using the ClapReverb App, (by Atelier 7hz), on an iPad.
Positioning of the iPad was as close as possible to the same position in the room for all tests. The claps were carried out approximately 1 metre and then 5 metres from the iPad (6th generation)
SRS computer modelling includes higher frequencies but the ClapReverb App does not record those higher frequencies.
Anecdotal evidence from individuals suggests a marked reduction in reverberation/echo has been achieved.
